As I was looking through Glamour’s tumblr, I saw this outfit by McQueen’s successor, Sarah Burton. Since my brain is still hooked on Beyonce from the previous post, I immediately thought of her outfit (or was it Sasha Fierce’s?) at the end of the video for Sweet Dreams. This is too cool. The track sees the Philly duo combine modern Hip-Hop sounds with old school soul in the uplifting track. There’s gospel style piano riffs and vocals, which fit the song’s fun nature while still allowing it to remain credible. Hopefully this song will take off on radio. It’s definitely commercial enough, yet stands out from most of what’s been played at the moment. Chiddy Bang seem to continued their run of light, quirky singles.
